ISLAMABAD: The fire in Margalla Hills has been completely brought under control.

The fire on the Margalla hills of Islamabad was brought under control. More than 150 personnel participated in the rescue operation.

In a statement released by CDA, it was said that the fire on the hills of Margalla was brought under control after several hours of struggle.

More than 150 personnel of CDA and Environment Department took part in the fire extinguishing process. All resources were used to control the fire. It should be noted that the fire on the Margalla hills had spread over an area of ​​3 km near Loi Dundi, Ratta Hotar and Pir Suhawa.

The heat wave and increased wind speed increased the intensity of the fire. Due to strong wind, the rescue personnel faced difficulties in stopping the spread of the fire.
