Shahbaz Sharif was nominated as acting president of PML-N in the meeting of PML-N Central Working Committee.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz participated in the meeting. Apart from this, other members including Rana Sanaullah, Ahsan Iqbal, Ishaq Dar also participated in the meeting.
Muslim League-N leader Saiful-Muluk Khokhar said that Shehbaz Sharif will be acting president of PML-N till May 28. Saif-ul-Muluk Khokhar says that Nawaz Sharif will be elected as party president in the general council meeting on May 28.
He said that Rana Sanaullah has been appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner for the election of the party president. It should be clear that on May 13, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif resigned from the party post. Shehbaz Sharif resigned from the presidency of Muslim League-N. had resigned, he had sent his resignation to party leader Nawaz Sharif.
