A cat in the US state of Vermont was awarded an honorary doctorate by the university.
A cat named ‘Max’ has taken up residence near the entrance to the Vermont State University Castleton campus and attends the university on a daily basis.
Due to living mostly in the university, the cat is familiar with the students and teachers, so it does not cause any harm to the university.
In recognition of Billy’s love for students and faculty, university officials awarded him an honorary doctorate and the title of Doctor of Letters.
It is being told that this cat is quite social and poses for selfies while being active in sports as well as taking its cues from students.
