PTI founder Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi acquitted in another case

The local courts of Islamabad have acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan and other leaders in two cases filed in Kohsar Police Station and Karachi Company for violation of Section 144 and Azadi March.

Judicial Magistrate Shahzad Khan has filed a case against founder PTI, Sheikh Rasheed, Faisal Javed Khan, Ali Nawaz Awan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi Qasim Suri Raja Khurram Nawaz and other accused persons for violation of Article 144 in Kohsar police station. I accepted the pleas of acquittal.

On the other hand, Judicial Magistrate Mureed Abbas also in the case filed in the Karachi Police Station regarding the violation of the Freedom March and Article 144, founder PTI, Faisal Javed Khan, Ali Nawaz Awan, Saifullah Niazi, Zartaj Gul, Asad Umar. And accept the pleas of acquittal of other accused. In both the cases, arguments were presented on the acquittal pleas by Sardar Gharzi Khan and Amna Ali. The courts had reserved judgment on the cases.

The Judicial Magistrate while issuing the acquittal of the founder PTI wrote that according to the case, the founder PTI incited other persons while there is no evidence on record against him.

The court cannot proceed with the case against the accused founder PTI on such a record. An accused cannot be deprived of his legal right without any reason. Even if the prosecution records the available evidence, the crime is not proved, keeping in view the facts, the story of the prosecution has become very suspicious.

If the case is tried in the light of the existing evidence, the valuable time of the court will be wasted. In the case filed on November 2023 in Khana police station, PTI founder’s petition is acquitted.
