The President appointed renowned religious scholar Dr. Raghib Naimi as the Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, the Ministry of Law and Justice issued a notification.
Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeimi is the Honorable Imam of Jamia Naeemia Lahore, he is also the Chairman of Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab and also member of Quran Board Punjab and Central Ruyat Hilal Committee.
Dr. Raghib Naimi is also a syndicate member of Punjab University and University of Agriculture. Dr. Raghib Hussain Naimi was recently awarded the Star of Imtiaz. It should be noted that before him, Dr. Qibla Ayaz was the Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, who held the position for 3 years. The annual term ends in April.
