Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar was awarded the 3rd Bint-i-Hawa Achievement Award 2024 by the Bint-i-Hawa Forum (BHF).
According to the official news agency (APP), an event was held in Peshawar to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of women under the auspices of Bint-e-Hawa Forum (BHF). A total of 35 awards were presented in 10 different categories recognizing outstanding achievements of women.
The event honored women for their outstanding performance and services in various fields including healthcare, social work, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, sports.
In this event, Lieutenant General Nigar Johar was honored with the Bint-e-Hawa Achievement Award 2024 for the third time. In addition, Shabina Ayaz and Tabsum Adnan were honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in this event.
It should be noted that Lieutenant General Nigar Johar Khan is a retired three-star general in HI(M) TI(M) Pakistan Army. She made history as the first and only woman to reach the rank of ‘Lieutenant General’.Lieutenant General Nigar Johar Khan belonged to Pakistan Army Medical Corps and served as Surgeon General and Colonel of Army Medical Corps in Pakistan Army.
