Anwar-ul-Azam, Member of Parliament of Bangladesh, was killed in the Indian city of Kolkata and his body was buried in a gruesome manner.
The killer not only removed the skin from the victim’s body, but also cut small pieces of his body into packets and left them at different places in the city.
The Bangladeshi MLA had reached Kolkata on May 12, after which he was missing two days later, i.e., from May 14. West Bengal CID conducted a thorough investigation and arrested the killer, who was an illegal immigrant from Bangladesh. The immigrant turned out.
The accused, identified as Jihad Havaldar and a resident of Mumbai, also confessed to his involvement in the murder and disposing of the body.
The accused said that the mastermind of this murder was Bangladeshi-American citizen Akhtar-ul-Zaman, on whose orders Jihad along with his other Bangladeshi accomplices killed the Member of Parliament in an apartment in Kolkata.
When the Bengal CID inspected the said apartment, blood stains and several plastic bags were found there, which were used to dispose of the body parts. The evidence showed that the victim was first strangled to death. After that, his body was cut into several pieces.
In a shocking revelation, the killer told the CID that after killing Anwar-ul-Azam, they all skinned and minced the meat to avoid identification and chopped the bones into small pieces.
The brutal killer further said that the remains were then packed in plastic bags and dumped at various locations in the city of Kolkata. The police said that they are getting more information about the places where the body parts of the Bangladeshi politician were dumped. .
