Veteran Bollywood actress Kajol and renowned choreographer, director, producer and actor Prabhu Deva are reuniting after 27 years, this time in a big budget action thriller.
Filmmaker Charan Tej Opalapathy will come to Bollywood to direct this project. The film will feature senior actors Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jeeshu Sen Gupta and Aditya Sail.
One of the highlights of the film will be Kajol’s first time working with Naseeruddin Shah in a film. It should be noted that Prabhu Deva mostly works in South Indian Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries, but was born in Mysore. 51-year-old Prabhu Deva is also associated with the Hindi film industry.
It may be recalled that Kajol and Prabhu Deva worked together 27 years ago in 1997 in Rajeev Menon’s Tamil film Mensara Kanvu, which also featured Arvind Swamy and which turned out to be a huge hit. Later its Hindi version was brought as Sapne.
