Islamabad: Another patient of Congo virus died in the country.
According to the sources of the National Health Organization, the Congo case was reported on May 14 from Padang area of Charsadda, from where the patient was brought to Khyber Teaching in Peshawar where he was undergoing treatment in the hospital.
According to sources, the Congo virus patient died in Peshawar on May 19. An 18-year-old boy suffering from Congo virus was involved in the profession of shepherd, the Congo patient was brought to Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar on May 17.
According to sources, Congo was confirmed in a patient at Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar on May 18. The patient had gone to Lahore for animal purchase seven days before the symptoms appeared.
It should be remembered that 2 patients of Congo virus died in Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi yesterday.
DMS Benazir Bhutto Hospital Dr. Junaid Nenji told the channel that Congo is a deadly virus and the chances of saving it are only 10%, Congo virus is transmitted from animals to humans and from humans to humans.
Dr. Junaid said that bleeding gums, nose and stool and high fever are symptoms of Congo virus.
