KUALA LUMPUR: A young man in Malaysia has received an eye transplant after his eye has been damaged by excessive exposure to dirt since childhood.

According to media reports, 21-year-old Malaysian Muhammad Zubeidi has spent most of his life rubbing his eyes excessively because he had an allergy since he was fifty-five. She wouldn’t blush but it had serious consequences in her youth.

At the age of 15, he started experiencing blurred vision in his right eye and the condition worsened over time. Finally he went to a doctor where he was told that the cornea of ​​the eye had been damaged due to constant eye rubbing and a new cornea transplant was needed.

In a transplant, the damaged cornea is removed and replaced with a new cornea. The young man was put under general anesthesia to avoid pain. The doctor told him that he would be able to open his eyes in a couple of months, but it would take years to fully recover.
