Kolkata Knight Riders won the final of IPL 2024. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss of the final match played in Chennai and decided to bat first which cost them dearly.
The batting line of Sunrisers Hyderabad proved to be a wall of sand in front of the nippy bowling of the bowlers of Kolkata Knight Riders and the entire team was bowled out for 113 runs in 18.3 overs.
Pat Cummins 24, Adam Markram 20, Klaasen were prominent batsmen with 16 runs, Andre Russell 3, Mitchell Starc, Harshit Rana got 2, 2 wickets.
In response, Kolkata Knight Riders achieved the target in 10.3 overs with the loss of 2 wickets. Venkatesh Iyer was the outstanding batsman with 52 runs not out. It should be remembered that Kolkata Knight Riders have won the IPL trophy for the third time.
