The Sindh Cabinet has approved the agreement to run 50 electric buses in Karachi.
Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon says that the Sindh government will continue to rent these buses, after 8 years these buses will become the property of the Sindh government.
The Sindh Cabinet also approved 41.25 million rupees for the rent of these buses for 6 months, the Sindh Cabinet will continue to give 82.50 million rupees every year for the next 7 years.
According to Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, currently 50 buses are running on 3 routes.
