Mayor of London Sadiq Khan also turned out to be a fan of national team captain Babar Azam.
In honor of the national cricket team, Pakistan High Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Faisal gave a dinner in London, which was attended by important personalities and community including Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and former Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said that Babar Azam is in good form, he is my favorite player and role model. Sadiq Khan said that there will be a good competition in today’s match played at the Oval, today’s match is won by Pakistan team or England, in both cases it is my victory.
The eyes of overseas Pakistanis including Pakistanis living in Pakistan are also on the team. He added that I remember Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram after watching the bowling of the Pakistani team.
