A mixed trend in the value of the dollar at the close of business in the currency market
KARACHI: A mixed trend was seen in the value of the dollar at the close of business in the currency market. The dollar remained stable at 279 rupees 49 paise in the open market, while the dollar fell by 17 paise to 278 rupees 33 paisa in the interbank market.
The dollar closed at 278 rupees 50 paise in the interbank market last business day.
Apart from this, the price of Euro increased by 67 paise to Rs 301 33 paise. The British pound was recorded at 354 rupees 36 paise. The Emirati dirham remains unchanged at 75 rupees 98 paise and the Saudi riyal is stable at 74 rupees 20 paise.
