Los Angeles: NASA has revealed that a strong solar flare has been emitted from the Sun.
According to the foreign news agency, the NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory said that at 10:37 a.m. (Eastern time), a strong solar flare erupted from the sun, which was at its peak.
The observatory took a picture of the flare, which is rated as X 1.4.
NASA said the solar flare came from the same area where a flare also erupted earlier this month. This region revolved around the far side of the Sun, which is now back in front of the Earth.
Solar flares are powerful emissions of radiation, but this radiation cannot physically affect humans on Earth after passing through the Earth’s atmosphere.
According to experts, when solar flares are intense, they can affect the layer of Earth’s atmosphere where GPS and communication signals travel.
