The national cricket team will leave for America today to participate in the T20 World Cup

After playing the series against England, the Pakistan cricket team will leave for America today to participate in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2024.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the first group of the 19-member Pakistan team will leave for the American city of Dallas today. The first group will consist of national players and members of the management.

The second group of the national team will also fly to the USA today for the T20 World Cup, this group will include 9 players and members of the support staff. The national team will play its first match in the T20 World Cup on June 6 against USA in Dallas.

It should be noted that the national team faced a 2-0 defeat in the four-match T20 series against England. The first match was dominated by rain, the second by England, the third was affected by rain and in the fourth match, England played again. Earlier, Pakistan had won the series 1-2 against weak Ireland.
