London: National cricket team captain Babar Azam has said that the World Cup is a completely different game and will give better results in it.
The captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, while talking to the media after the defeat in the T20 series against England, said that to win, the strike rate has to be increased and modern cricket has to be played.
He said that the batsmen did not show responsibility in the middle overs while all the players including Azam Khan have been selected on merit.
Babar Azam said that the World Cup is a completely different game and will give better results in it. Not familiar with the conditions of America but well aware of West Indies. He said that all the players know their role and they have to take responsibility.
It should be noted that England defeated Pakistan by 2 nil in the T20 series. In the fourth and final T20 match, England defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets. 4 Pakistani players returned to the pavilion without scoring any runs.
Batting first, the national team scored 157 runs in 19.5 overs and were all out. Apart from captain Babar Azam and Usman Khan, none of the batsmen could perform better. England achieved Pakistan’s target of 158 runs in 15.3 overs at the loss of 7 wickets.
