Shoaib Malik, the former captain of the national team, issued a statement on social media and advised Babar Azam to bat at number three instead of opening in the World Cup.
Shoaib Malik wrote that I think Babar Azam should bat at number three because we need a batsman in the middle order who can change the strike and Babar is the best option for us.
Apart from this, Shoaib Malik said regarding Shadab Khan and Azam Khan that both of you are important for our team, don’t lose your confidence, play with heart, you are match winners, go to the World Cup with high morale.
It should be noted that ICCT Twenty World Cup is being held in America and West Indies, the event will start today from June 1. Pakistan cricket team’s first match in Group A of the ICCT Twenty World Cup will be played against the host USA on June 6.
