With the arrival of Eid al-Adha, green spices have become expensive.

Even before the arrival of Eid-ul-Adha in Karachi, the price of green spices and onions has increased.

According to market sources, the price of garlic increased to Rs 400 to Rs 500 per kg, while green spices became more expensive before the arrival of Eid-ul-Azha. Ginger started selling at 500 to 600 rupees per kg.

Green onion reached Rs 160 to Rs 200 per kg, onion increased from Rs 80 to Rs 120 per kg. White potato is available in the market at Rs.60, cauliflower at Rs.100 per kg.

On the other hand, contrary to the market rate, the Statistical Institute claimed a significant decrease in the inflation rate in the country by 3.24% during May. According to the report, inflation decreased to 11.76 percent in May.
