Lawyer Salman Safdar said that the request for suspension of sentence has been pending since March 11, the verdict was to be pronounced on March 29, but Khawar Manika expressed distrust in the judge. A hearing on the request for suspension of sentence should be scheduled this week.

The court called for arguments on June 7 on Bushra Bibi’s request for suspension of sentence.

It should be noted that there was a big progress in the Nikah case yesterday, the Islamabad High Court accepted the request to transfer the case to another court.
