Several agreements signed between Pakistani and Chinese companies.

During the Prime Minister’s visit to China, several agreements were signed between Pakistan and Chinese companies. Under the agreements, investments will be made in agriculture, fertilizers, IT, mobile, pharmaceuticals, software, fiber.

According to the details, during the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China, bilateral agreements were signed between Pakistan and Chinese companies. Federal Minister Investment Board Abdul Aleem Khan and Minister of Commerce held meetings with the heads of Chinese companies. Chinese companies have shown interest in investing in various sectors of Pakistan and agreements have been signed.

Under the agreements, investments will be made in agriculture, fertilizers, IT, mobile, pharmaceuticals, software and fiber sectors. On this occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul Aleem Khan said that he will encourage Chinese companies in business-to-business activities. The government is only a facilitator. Private sector will give complete free hand for investment.

The Federal Minister said that bilateral cooperation between the businessmen of China and Pakistan is welcome. Deploy Group Chairman Asif Khan is also representing Pakistan in the delegation. A memorandum of understanding was also signed between Deploy Group Chairman Asif Khan and China’s technology partner for setting up a state-of-the-art R&D lab in Pakistan.
