The Lahore High Court allowed the markets to remain open till 12 midnight till Eid al-Adha.

The court allowed the markets to remain open till 12 midnight till Eid al-Adha, while the markets will be open till 1 am on weekends.
In addition, the Punjab Food Authority submitted a report related to dead chickens in the court, the report said that 46 thousand 670 kg of dead chickens were destroyed from the Tolanton market, 94 cases were registered against the sellers of dead and unhealthy meat, for chewing meat. So raids are being conducted on a daily basis.
The court adjourned the hearing till June 14 and asked for performance reports from various departments.
