KARACHI: Legendary writer, satirist and host Anwar Maqsood revealed the unique reason behind Pakistan’s humiliating defeat at the hands of USA in the T20 World Cup.
In the eleventh match of the tournament played at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, the United States caused a big upset by defeating Pakistan. They are also giving an interesting reaction to Pakistan’s defeat.
Anwar Maqsood’s video is going viral on social media, in which he was asked what he would say if he lost the match to America in the T20 World Cup.
In response to this question, Anwar Maqsood said that Pakistan had to lose the match against America because we have to get a loan from the IMF which has not been received yet.
Anwar Maqsood said that the IMF must have made a condition in front of Pakistan that if they lose the match against America, in that case they will get a loan, apart from that, I don’t see any other reason for defeat.
He further said that those who have bought tickets for the India-Pakistan match will now sell the same tickets at half price.
It should be noted that the American team, which participated in the tournament for the first time, defeated Pakistan in the Super Over and occupied the first position in the points table.
