Islamabad: Minister of State for Finance and Energy Ali Pervez Malik has said that the budget is being prepared within the IMF framework.
Talking to the media in Islamabad, Ali Pervez Malik said that the country’s budget will be presented on June 12, preparations are underway to present the budget next week.
He said that it would be premature to comment on how much tax will be imposed on which sector, but the budget is being prepared within the IMF framework, and the final decision on the budget will be taken by the Prime Minister.
The Minister of State said that some speculators are spreading false rumors in the stock market, hopefully the monetary policy will be soft.
