Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by two wickets in the fifteenth match of the ICCT Twenty World Cup.
Batting first, the Sri Lankan team scored 124 runs for the loss of 9 wickets with the help of Bithar Peetham’s 47 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Bangladesh achieved the target in 19 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Sri Lankan opening batsman Pitham Nissanka played a brilliant innings of 47 runs with the help of 7 fours, Dhananjay De Silva 22, Charith Aslanka 19, Angelo Mathews 16 and Kushal Mendis returned to the pavilion with 10 runs.
