Balochistan High Court has summoned Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti for alleged irregularities in wheat purchase. The case was heard by a 2-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Hashim Kakar.
During the hearing, Secretary Food Akbar Harifal, DG Food Zafarullah and Advocate General Asif Riki appeared in the court. The Supreme Court has summoned Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on June 12.
The court also ordered to stop the implementation of the notification of the transfer of DG Food Zafarullah. The Chief Justice High Court asked the Advocate General and other officials that where is the Chief Minister?
Advocate General Asif Riki replied that the Chief Minister of Balochistan is in Islamabad and will come tomorrow.
It should be noted that the application related to the alleged irregularities in the purchase of wheat has been filed by Muhammad Sadiq, a citizen of Awsta Muhammad.
