The Election Commission transferred the cases of the three constituencies of Islamabad to another tribunal.
The 4-member commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, while giving a safe decision on the requests of the members of the National Assembly of the Muslim League (N), rejected the request of the PTI leaders not to transfer the case to another tribunal.
It should be remembered that the Election Commission had reserved its decision last Friday after completing the hearing of the case related to the tribunal change case.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Raja Khurram Nawaz and Anjum Aqeel from Islamabad expressed no confidence in Election Tribunal Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
