Due to a shortage, tetanus injections are being sold at inflated prices in Karachi.

Karachi: Senior Vice Chairman Pakistan Chemist and Druggist Association Abdul Samad Badhani says that patients are facing problems due to shortage of tetanus injections in Karachi.

Senior Vice Chairman PCDA Abdul Samad Badhani says that tetanus injection could not be prepared due to non-availability of raw materials in the global market, patients are facing problems due to shortage of tetanus injection.

Abdul Samad Badhani said that ATS injection of tetanus is missing in Karachi, some shopkeepers are selling tetanus injection in black, 5 ml injection of 50 to 55 rupees is being sold at 10 times higher price.

He further said that according to the pharmaceutical companies, the problem of preparation of injection has been solved, tetanus injection will be available in the market soon.
