Moscow: An astronaut from Russia has set a record for spending the most days in space.
According to media reports, Oleg Kononenko set a world record when he became the first person to spend a total of 1000 days in space.
The Russian space agency issued a statement in which it said that cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, who is currently working on the International Space Station, has become the first person in the world to complete a 1,000-day space flight. A record has been made.
Oleg has been on 5 different missions, including 3 as commander to the International Space Station. Former medical officer of NASA, Emmanuel Arroquita, said that such a record can only be set by a special kind of person.
