Sindh Assembly: Property Tax Amendment Bill passed by majority vote

The property tax amendment bill was passed in the Sindh Assembly by majority vote. The property tax amendment bill was presented by Sindh Interior Minister Zia Linjar in the House.

Speaking during the meeting, opposition leader Ali Soharri said which trees are planted in the plantation campaign. Zia Linjar said that more acacia trees are planted in the plantation campaign, there is no area policy for plantation.

Ali Soharri said that there is zero plantation along the roads in Sindh, if you see Sindh in Google map, you can see less greenery, what steps have been taken by the forest department to make Sindh green.

Zia Linjar said that the name of Sindh Forestry Department came in the Guinness World Record three times, 1.2 million plantations have been done in Karachi in 2022-23.

Member of Assembly MQM Fauzia Hameed said that load shedding is a big problem during exams.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that 100 schools are being solarized under the World Bank, some big educational institutions are being solarized in Karachi, and all parties have been represented in the meeting with the K Electric officers.
