The Health Department of Makkah has issued information on the medical services given to the Hajj pilgrims.

The Saudi government released the details of the medical facilities provided to the pilgrims so far. According to the Department of Health, open heart surgery has been done for 6 pilgrims while stents have been installed for 68 pilgrims.

So far 2 thousand 34 pilgrims have been given medical facilities while 160 pilgrims have been dialyzed.

According to the health department, currently 805 pilgrims are under treatment in various hospitals and 176 pilgrims are in ICU.

According to the government, pilgrims are being given free treatment and medicines in the medical centers of Makkah and Madinah.
