The World Bank has approved a billion dollar loan for Pakistan, which is the third largest loan from the World Bank for Pakistan.
According to the statement issued by the World Bank, the loan amount will be used for the Dasu Hydropower Project.
The statement said that on completion of the project, 4320 to 5400 megawatts of electricity will be generated, the funds will be spent on phase one of the Dasu Hydro project.
The World Bank statement said that the Dasu Hydro project will be a game changer for Pakistan, the project will generate cheap electricity in Pakistan.
