The important statement of the Meteorological Department regarding the pre-monsoon rains has come out. Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz says that there is a possibility of pre-monsoon rains in the country after June 19.
Sardar Sarfaraz said that more than normal rainfall is expected this year but there is no chance of rain in the plains on Eid.
On the other hand, the meteorological department says that the weather in Karachi is likely to remain hot and humid today.
The minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.
Apart from this, the Meteorological Department says that the country receives an average of 188 mm of rainfall annually, of which roughly 141 mm falls during the monsoon.
This year, there is a possibility of 35% more rain than normal across the country, temperature is also expected to be higher than normal.
