A 7-day anti-polio campaign has started across Sindh from today.
Caretaker Health Minister Sindh Dr. Saad says that the anti-polio campaign will continue till March 3, 16 million children will be administered polio drops.
Dr. Saad said that children aged 6 months to 5 years will be given additional doses of vitamin A. More than 3,700 personnel are assigned to protect the anti-polio teams.
He said that polio virus has been found in environmental samples from all over the country this year, parents and teachers should cooperate with anti-polio teams.
