The delegation of the coalition parties failed to convince Maulana Fazlur Rehman

Islamabad: A delegation of Muslim League (N), Pakistan Peoples Party and other allied parties reached the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman to seek support in the House, but they could not get success.

The delegation of the negotiating committee of the allied parties headed by Yusuf Raza Gilani reached the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Who was welcomed by Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Among the committee members were Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq, Saad Rafiq, Rana Tanveer, Khurshid Shah, Naveed Qamar, Sadiq Sanjrani, Khalid Magsi, Senator Abdul Qadir, IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan, Salik Hussain of Q-League were included in the delegation.

When the negotiation committee met Maulana Fazlur Rehman, JUI’s Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Maulana Attaur Rehman, Maulana Asad Mahmood, Mufti Misbahuddin, Aslam Ghori, Hafiz Hamdullah, Usman Badini, Noor Alam Khan were also present in the meeting. The political situation of the country was discussed in the meeting.

Later, leaders of the government negotiation committee KK spoke to the media. League leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Muslim League-N, PPP, Balochistan Awami Party, Muslim League-Q all of us came to seek votes from Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

He said that we are democratic people and we also have a relationship of respect with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and requested Maulana to vote for us in the House for other constitutional positions including President and Prime Minister.

Ayaz Sadiq said that during the conversation, Maulana Fazlur Rehman also presented his concerns, which were discussed, but he did not agree to vote.

He said that now our leaders will meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman in the House.
