Leader of Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif reached the residence of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The efforts of the PML-N leadership to convince Maulana Fazlur Rehman for the election of the Prime Minister are going on and in this regard, the leader of the League reached the house of the JUI chief, where the two political leaders have met.
PML-N leaders Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah and Saad Rafique also participated in the meeting while Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali, Noor Alam Khan and Maulana Ghafoor Hydari also participated in the meeting.
During the important meeting, political and parliamentary issues were also discussed.
Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman was held in two phases, first the JUI and League leaders met at the level of delegations, while in the second phase, Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman also had a one-on-one meeting.
In the meeting, Nawaz Sharif assured to remove the concerns of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Speaking to the media after the meeting, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that Maulana Sahib was our partner, he will remain a partner, it was a good meeting with him. In this regard, Rana Sanaullah also said that he had a good meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
