Mir Sarfraz Bugti was nominated as Chief Minister of Balochistan
Former Caretaker Interior Minister and PPP leader Mir Sarfraz Bugti was nominated unopposed as Chief Minister of Balochistan.
According to Secretary Balochistan Assembly Tahir Shah Kakar, four nomination papers of Sarfraz Bagti have been submitted for the Chief Ministership, apart from him, no other candidate has submitted nomination papers.
The secretary of Baluchistan Assembly says that despite being nominated as the chief minister, there will be a referendum in the house tomorrow Saturday.
He said that despite being nominated unopposed, Sarfaraz Bugti will need the support of 33 members in the poll to be elected as the Chief Minister.
It should be noted that the deadline for submission of nomination papers for the Chief Ministership was 5 pm today.
