ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and congratulated him on his election as Prime Minister.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his good wishes for Shahbaz Sharif and said that he was happy for the election of Shahbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister. Pakistan and Turkey will work together for development.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that he welcomes the congratulatory sentiments of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Tayyip Erdoğan has always supported Pakistan’s position on the Kashmir issue and has condemned the incidents of terrorism in Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif further said that Turkey has always raised its voice on the Palestinian conflict, which is worthy of praise. Muslim countries value this role of Turkey. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is an experienced leader. We need to benefit from their experience.
