Army Chief meets Prime Minister, discusses national security issues
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir met the newly elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
This is the first meeting of Shahbaz Sharif with the Army Chief after he was elected as the Prime Minister, in which General Asim Munir congratulated him on assuming the post of Prime Minister and expressed his best wishes.
In the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Army Chief, issues of national security were discussed, while the professional and security issues of the Pakistan Army were also discussed.
