Rains are continuing in Balochistan due to western winds and are likely to continue till tomorrow.
According to the Department of Meteorology, heavy rains will enter Balochistan from today, during the next 24 hours there is a possibility of more thundershowers and snowfall in hilly areas in different districts of Balochistan including Quetta.
Rain caused widespread havoc in Dalbandin region of Balochistan, besides Pishin 10 mm, Chaman 8 mm and Kalat 6 mm, Lasbela 2 mm, Quetta 5 mm and Loralai 1 mm.
In other affected districts including Gwadar, relief activities are going on in collaboration with other institutions including Pakistan Army, Navy, PDMA and district administration.
The Meteorological Department says that today there is a possibility of rain in Upper Sindh, Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas and snowfall on mountains.
