The provincial cabinet of Punjab approved the supplementary budget of 4480 billion rupees.
The Chief Secretary and Finance Secretary presented the budget document to the Chief Minister, which was signed by Maryam Nawaz.
The development budget is Rs 655 billion and the budget for social security measures is Rs 20 billion. For health, Rs 473.6 billion and Rs 596 billion have been allocated for education.
127.7 billion rupees have been allocated for local government, 30 billion rupees for Ramadan package, 11 billion rupees for provision of free books and 12.5 billion rupees for central business district.
