Judgment reserved on Imran Khan's acquittal plea in Long March, vandalism cases

The court rejected PTI founder’s request for production in two cases of long march and vandalism and reserved the decision on acquittal.

Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi heard PTI founder’s plea for acquittal and production. The court rejected the request to appear in court.

On the plea of acquittal of founder PTI, lawyer Naeem Panjotha argued that in all the cases against founder PTI, there are only Emma’s cases. The role of the notification of implementation of Section 144 has not been issued nor informed. The plaintiff is the SHO who has no authority to register the case, not even the statements of the witnesses in the cases registered on the founding PTI.

The lawyer said that the PTI founder had been acquitted in several cases even before this.
