During the first two decades of Ramadan, the number of pilgrims visiting the Prophet’s Mosque was more than 20 million.
According to the administration of the Prophet’s Mosque, the number of those who attended the Holy Prophet’s grave from 20 Ramadan till now was 16 lakh 43 thousand 288, while permits were issued to 3 lakh 58 thousand 632 men and 2 lakh 96 thousand 595 women for Riaz al-Jinnah.
On the occasion of the twenty-seventh night, the corridors, basement, roof, third extension, side streets, corridors of commercial centers and hotels and roads far and wide of the Masjid al-Haram are full of worshippers.
Traffic police personnel and crowd control task forces were deployed on the routes leading to and around Masjid al-Haram so that people could enter Masjid al-Haram in an orderly manner.
