Meteorological Department says that western winds have entered Balochistan, under the influence of which rain with thunder is expected in Karachi from tonight.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said in an advisory yesterday that after the westerly winds entered Southwest Balochistan, the Karachi division under the influence of this system will experience thunderstorms on the night of April 17 and April 18. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with lightning and heavy rain at isolated places.
PDMA also said that under the influence of this system on April 18 in Jamshoro, Dadu, Nowshera Feroze, Hydabad, Dadu, Matiari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tandwala Yar, Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot districts. It will rain.
