Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the leader of Muslim League (N), has expressed the possibility of Nawaz Sharif taking over the presidency of Muslim League (N).
Talking to a private channel, Senator Irfan Siddiqui said that there is an opinion in the Muslim League (N) that the party needs a full-time president and not a part-time one. Nawaz Sharif made Javed Hashmi the party president in the past and then Shahbaz Sharif. At present, he is busy with his mission, restoration of the economy is the biggest mission of Shahbaz Sharif, he does not have enough time to give to the party.
Irfan Siddiqui said that there is an opinion in the Muslim League (N) that Nawaz Sharif should take over the presidency of the party, a decision will be taken in a couple of months, it is likely that Nawaz Sharif will take over the party presidency of the Muslim League (N).
The League leader said that the political posts of the party should be separated from the government posts, whoever has a ministry is paying attention to it, therefore the party is being ignored.
Regarding becoming a party in the case of High Court judges, Irfan Siddiqui said that there is no truth in the news of Nawaz Sharif becoming a party in the case of High Court judges, he is not filing any application in this case.
Irfan Siddiqui further said that Nawaz Sharif’s cases have reached an end legally, the cases against him have been morally and politically exposed.
He said that after the testimony of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Judge Arshad Malik, the facts of the cases have come to the fore, there is no need for Nawaz Sharif to investigate these cases and take any application in it.
