Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced to upgrade the Pakistan Coastal Guards.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi chaired a meeting at the headquarters of Pakistan Coast Guards in which Secretary Interior, senior officials and officers of Pakistan Coast Guards participated.
Interior Minister said that Pakistan Coastal Guards will be upgraded on modern lines, Coastal Guards have to play an important role for anti-smuggling.
He said that in order to stop smuggling from the coastal areas, Pakistan Coast Guards should play a more active role, despite the limited resources, the performance of the Coastal Guards is excellent.
