Ahead of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s rally in Karachi, the traffic police has issued a traffic plan, according to which several highways will be closed for the general public, while alternative routes have been identified under the traffic plan.
According to the traffic police, the meeting will be held at Kori Durthari adjacent to People’s Chowrangi, those coming from inside Sindh can park their vehicles near Islamia College and go to the meeting.
According to the police, the participants coming from the central district can park their vehicles at Mazar-e-Quaid, the public should take alternative routes. According to the traffic police, the general public will not be allowed to enter the exhibition from Gurumandir, Jamshed Road and Tin Hatti.
According to the traffic police, they can take the Jail Flyover Tariq Road route from Gurmandar to Bahadur Yar Jung Road, Soldier Bazar and Jamshed Road. The traffic police can take Khalid Bin Waleed road on the right side from Kunwarani Road, the traffic coming from Jail Chowrangi Sea University Road will be diverted from Jail Chowrangi towards Shaheed Millat.
Also, the traffic coming from Jail Chowrangi to Jamshed Road will be diverted to Soldier Bazar, Business Recorder Road, can take the route from Lucky Star to Shariah Faisal on the right side of Sadar Dawakhana.
According to the traffic plan, buses and minibuses and other heavy traffic coming from Lasbela, Nazimabad and Tin Hatti will not be allowed to go to Gurmand from Lasbela, small vehicles will be able to go, heavy vehicles will take Nishtar Road.
Traffic Police Capri, MA Jinnah Road Traffic coming from Tibet Signal will be diverted from Capri to Soldier Bazar No. 1 Bahadur Yar Jung Road. Besides, entry of heavy traffic will be prohibited from Liaquatabad No. 10 to Tin Hatti and Gurumandar road.
