Israeli decision to shut down Al Jazeera is criminal, says channel management
Regarding the raid by the Israeli authorities on Qatar’s Al Jazeera television channel on Sunday and the removal of equipment from there by force, the channel management says that the time to close the Al Jazeera network in Israel has not yet been announced.
The Al Jazeera channel management called the Israeli decision a criminal act and a violation of human rights.
Al Jazeera’s bureau chief says that Israel’s decision is dangerous and political, and Al Jazeera’s legal team is working to file a lawsuit against the Israeli decision.
Earlier it was said that a decision has been taken to shut down the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s cabinet approved it. Meanwhile, according to the Arab media, Israel declared Al-Jazeera channel a threat to national security for supporting Palestine in the Gaza war.
