Preparations have been completed at Jinnah Airport related to Saudi Arabia Road to Makkah project from Karachi.

Civil Aviation CAA has established 8 Saudi immigration counters at the airport. Saudi immigration systems were installed at the airport counters.

Hajj pilgrims have been instructed to reach the airport 6 hours before the departure of the flight. CAA says that international departure lounge gate number 24 is reserved for Saudi immigration and customs officials.

At the airport, the Saudi immigration staff will carry out the immigration of pilgrims under the Road to Makkah project. Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport has been included in the Road to Makkah project. On May 9, 2 private airlines will take off from Karachi with the first Hajj flights under the Road to Makkah project. More than 16 thousand pilgrims will reach Saudi Arabia under the Road to Makkah project.

Pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia will not have to wait for immigration.
