In Chennai, India, a man with disabilities in both hands easily obtained a driving license.
According to Indian TV, 30-year-old Thansan, a resident of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, has the ability to drive a car with his legs despite being disabled in both hands.
Thansen was electrocuted at the age of 10, due to which both his hands had to be amputated at the elbows, but Thansen did not let his disability stop him and he does all his work very well. Doctors declared Thansen fit. On giving, he was issued a 10-year driving license by the Chennai administration, on which Thanson said that he is very happy to drive and after getting the license, he will now be able to travel easily.
A married father of one, Thansen learned to drive after being inspired by a two-handed man from Indore who got his driving license in 2016.
After learning to drive, Thansen had trouble getting a driver’s license but in 2013, when he heard about a woman with two hands from Kerala getting a driver’s license, he got her fitness certificate from doctors and Thus he was able to get a driving license.
